Your first 30 days as a SalesCollab partner
The partners who earn early are the ones who treat the first month as a setup sprint. Here's a simple plan for your first 30 days.
Week 1: finish onboarding
Complete the product orientation for your lane. Referral Partners do a 2-hour orientation; Sales Partners complete the full Sales Companion training track. Most partners finish core onboarding in one to two weeks, alongside their existing work.
Sign your agreement and check your partner portal. Your partner code and links appear as soon as the agreement is fully signed.
Week 2: set up your links
Your portal gives you one universal link and a deep link for each software product. Save them somewhere you can reach quickly on your phone.
- Use the universal link when you're not sure which product fits.
- Use a product deep link when the conversation is already about one problem — it lands the visitor straight on that product.
- Always share your own link: that's how a lead is attributed to you.
Week 3: make a list of 20 people
Write down 20 business owners you already know — clients, suppliers, BNI chapter members, former colleagues. Next to each, note one problem they've mentioned: slow follow-ups, paper contracts, poor Google visibility, messy asset registers.
Match each problem to one SalesCollab solution. You're not pitching everything; you're solving one thing.
Week 4: have five real conversations
Aim for five conversations, not fifty messages. Ask about the problem first, then share the relevant link. If they're interested, you introduce them — SalesCollab handles the technical questions and proposals.
